Bat-suit Revealed In Leaked Set Photos!

The Internet went Bat-crazy on Friday morning as leaked set photos and videos revealed Robert Pattinson’s full Bat-suit! The photos displayed the Twilight actor (or possible stunt-double) donning the suit while riding on a motor-cycle and also receiving direction from a crew member.

This was our most clear look at the suit since the film’s director Matt Reeves posted this video to his Vimeo account back around Valentine’s Day.

The Bat-suit reveal is always an exciting moment for comic fans, possibly becoming a more popular announcement than whomever will be playing the next James Bond.

Warner Bros was quick to take action against the social media accounts showing the leaked set photos of the Bat-suit, so we won’t display it here. We will say that this is the reason that the public should get a full suit reveal before principal photography starts. This way the studio can send out a great, attention grabbing picture to the public before someone decides to leak unflattering and grainy set photos.

The Batman is the newest film in the Batman series. Not much is known about the actual plot of the film, we just know that it is rumored to depict Batman in his early years and will also feature Batman villains Catwoman, Penguin, Riddler and Carmine Falcone. Some feel like the plot will take inspiration from The Long Halloween (with some spy pics capturing Jack-O’-Lanterns’ on the set), while other’s feel the story will more closely resemble Batman: Year One with a Greg Capullo Zero Year inspired look:

The film is being directed by Matt Reeves, with a script co-written by Reeves and Mattson Tomlin. Aside from Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne/Batman, the film also stars Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Colin Ferrell as Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin, Paul Dano as The Riddler, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Jim Gordon and Andy Serkis as longtime Wayne family butler Alfred Pennyworth.

Warner Bros will be releasing the film on June 25, 2021.
