If anything, Titans sure did tap into the vast well that is the DC Universe with its second season. Not only did it feature one badass version of Deathstroke as its main villain, but we also met the latest iterations of Aqualad, Superboy, Ravager, Jericho and even Krypto. And as the cherry on top, Dick Grayson evolved into the first live action Nightwing.
To think that more heroes and villains won’t be added to the pantheon in season 3 would be downright foolish. According to reputed tipster Emre Kaya, Roy Harper/Arsenal and Kaldur’ahm/Aqualad are the next to be welcomed aboard. Not only that, but Roy has supposedly already been cast.
If we’re to be honest, it probably won’t be Arrow‘s Colton Haynes reprising the role, but you never know. “Crisis on Infinite Earths” recently confirmed Titans takes place on Earth-9, so their Roy could look like the one inhabiting Earth-Prime. But more than likely, fans should brace themselves for a different actor to land the gig.
Hopefully official casting news will come down in the near future, which we will share with you if and when it does. Titans is expected to commence its third season in either late 2020 or early 2021, so one would assume shooting will begin before you know it.
