‘Wonder Woman’ #750: All-Star Anniversary Issue Announced

Wonder Woman 750

Wonder Woman fans will be getting a special treat in January: a giant-sized anniversary issue filled with all-star creative talent. Even though the current issue numbering is in the 80s, this new book will be #750 because technically, even with the renumbering over the years, it will be 750th issue of the title since its inception.

Wonder Woman 750

The 96-page comic will have stories from Greg Rucka, Gail Simone, Vita Ayala, Marguerite Bennett, Jeff Loveness, and Steve Orlando. Other writers, new to Wonder Woman comics, include Kami Garcia, Mariko Tamaki, and Shannon and Dean Hale (from the upcoming book Diana: Princess of the Amazons).

The artist lineup features Colleen Doran, Jesus Merino, Nicola Scott, Elena Casagrade, and Gabriel Picolo, and more still to be announced. The main cover is by Joëlle Jones, but that won’t be your only option. According to DC’s press release, “a collection of comics’ most popular and talented artists will render a series of variant covers for this momentous issue, depicting the Amazon Princess in different eras from the 1940s to present day.”

Here’s that lineup:

1940s variant cover by Joshua Middleton

1950s variant cover by Jenny Frison

1960s variant cover by J. Scott Campbell

1970s variant cover by Olivier Coipel

1980s variant cover by George Pérez

1990s variant cover by Brian Bolland

2000s variant cover by Adam Hughes

2010s variant cover by Jim Lee and Scott Williams

Wonder Woman #750 will be priced at $9.99 and available January 22, 2020.
