Birds of Prey fans, you have a lot to look forward to in the near future. Front and center, of course, is the Margot Robbie-led feature film due in February (which may or may not be part of a trilogy). We also have the new BoP comic by Brian Azzarello and Emanuela Lupacchino, which is being rebranded as Black Label and rescheduled to tie in with the movie.
But sooner than either of those comes a new Harley Quinn & The Birds of Prey anthology graphic novel. While we don’t yet know the contents of the book — and what the balance will be between original and reprint material — DC’s description reads as follows:
This anthology features stories based on the movie Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn): Harley Quinn, Black Canary, the Huntress, Renee Montoya and Cassandra Cain.
Set after the events of Suicide Squad, the film follows Harley Quinn as she joins forces with Black Canary, the Huntress, and Renee Montoya to save Cassandra Cain from Gotham City crime lord Black Mask. This book will spotlight stories featuring each of these badass Ladies of DC.
Harley Quinn & The Birds of Prey is set for release November 12.
