Krypton Returns–And Lobo Gets His Own Spin-Off Series?

Krypton - DC Comics News

The popular show Krypton returns tonight for its second season and gives us a glimpse of what life is like under General Zod’s rule. The season also gives us glimpses of Superman villains such as Doomsday and Brainiac. The real hype of the new season is our first look at a live-action Lobo, played by Emmett J. Scanlan. But what’s this about a spin-off series?

Doomsday, Zod, Brainiac, and now Lobo? We get to see some of Superman’s most formidable adversaries. It turns out Lobo is already so popular he may be getting his own spin-off series. We get to see Scanlan’s Lobo on both Krypton and his own series with Warner Horizon Scripted Television. The show is currently in development and set to be executive produced by Krypton’s own Cameron Welsh.

We’ll get to hear much more about this project in development but we’ll settle for his appearance in Krypton for now.

Krypton premieres tonight at 10 pm on Syfy.

Let us know in the comments below what you think of Lobo and Scanlan’s performance!

Hi! I'm Shaina aka the Jokergurl. I've been studying comics (namely Batman) since I was 12 years old, and possibly even before that. My forte is being up on absolutely everything there is to know about the Caped Crusader, and both the Clown Prince and Princess of Crime. I recently graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with an MA in English and Creative Writing and an MFA in Creative Writing from National University. I am also a Digital Marketing expert. I have a cat Strawberry and a dog Ashes and spend most of my time reading, editing, cosplaying, and gaming on Game of Honor. Have a happy!
