Summary

By far the biggest survivors of the decimation of Olympus have taken up residence in Rocky Mountain National Park, and they’re not moving!
Positives
The cover by Terry Dodson and Rachel Dodson is cool and a little funny. Diana is practically standing in a giant’s eye; that’s hilarious. It does look cool.
The interior art is fine. It’s a little stylized which works well with the more fantasy elements of this story.
Speaking of, I appreciate that Wilson writes Wonder Woman with a lot of fantasy. That’s a genre element that kind of comes and goes depending on who is writing the book but it fits the character well and I think helps the book stand out a little. It’s also just fun to see Wonder Woman fight titans.
The Giganta team up is fun. I love that Diana tries to give a typical inspirational speech to motivate Giganta into helping her but it doesn’t really work. Giganta wants Wonder Woman to pay her for her services and that is very funny as well as being a nice little subversion.
Negatives
There are no negatives worth mentioning.
Verdict
This is a great issue. The story is a fun concept that is executed with energy and style. I like that there continues to be major consequences for Olympus’ fall. And the team up with Giganta makes the issue even more enjoyable.
