‘Titans’ Season 2 Finds Its Superboy

Joshua Orpin - DC Comics News

DC Universe has done a great job of building a new Comic Universe for television. First Titans surprised many with how well it was done. Then, only three episodes in and Doom Patrol is proving to be a fantastic follow up. Next, they will be launching Swamp Thing then Stargirl.

But finally, we have begun getting news about Titans Season 2. Anyone that stayed for the amazing after-credits scene in the Titans season 1 finale, can tell you that Connor Kent (aka Superboy) and Krypto are coming to the series.

The scene kept Superboy in the shadows to hide the actor since it wasn’t an official casting choice, but now DC Universe has officially cast the character.

They have chosen Australian actor, Joshua Orpin to don the Superman insignia. Whether he will be the angsty character we see in Young Justice is unknown, but the addition of anyone from the Superman family of characters opens a lot of potential for the second season.

Titans is executive produced by Geoff Johns, Akiva Goldsman Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter.

Cameron Tevis

Hi, I'm Cameron Tevis and I've been a comic book, anime and film fan my entire life. While I like Marvel and anime my true love is DC Comics. My father, who was a fan himself, introduced me at a very young age to the amazing characters in DC (especially Hal Jordan Green Lantern). I think it's a fantastic time to be a comic book fan and I'm happy I get to write about the company that I love so much. Besides being a DC fan, I am a designer and I recently started a comic book series of my own called Event Cycle 6 published through Aporian Comics. I recently wrote and directed a short film "The Misadventures of Harley Quinn". And most importantly I am now a father to my beautiful daughter Arya Jade!
