Though a formal release date has not yet been announced, Syfy has officially begun promoting Krypton season 2.
They recently took to Instagram to release a new motion poster on that features Seg-El and Dru-Zod, hinting at the inevitable confrontation between the two. Season 1 ended with Seg-El trapped in the Phantom Zone while Zod came into power after the timeline was altered.

The series is set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel’s home planet, Krypton follows Superman’s grandfather — whose House of El was ostracized and shamed — as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos.
