If you don’t follow the HBO channel on YouTube, then you might of missed a new video from the premium channel that offers a quick look at what you can expect in terms of programming in 2019. However, DC fans might find the most intriguing part to be the small teaser for the upcoming Watchmen series included in the short reel.
Take a look at the video down below for a glimpse of the upcoming Watchmen series among other HBO shows:
It goes by really quick but you get a good look at cast member Jeremy Irons, some weirdly concealed police officers and characters, and close up of what might be Rorschach himself.
The upcoming Watchmen series on HBO is being developed by David Lindelof, executive producer of the mega hit Game Of Thrones. The series is going to be set in the universe created by Alan Moore and David Gibbons but will take place well before the events of the groundbreaking self-titled graphic novel.
The show will feature the likes of Jeremy Irons, Regina King, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Adelaide Clemens and Andrew Howard.
There is no premiere date set in stone as of this writing but we can expect it to be sometime in late in 2019. This might just be speculation on our part but we expect it to premiere well after Game Of Thrones has wrapped up. It’s a pretty popular show from what we’ve heard and you don’t want a new show buried underneath GOT.
