As previously announced, The World’s Mightiest Mortal was returning to Toronto, but Zachary Levi himself confirmed they have begun in a more creative fashion.
Via Instagram, the actor who plays the title character in Shazam!, posted an image of his lightning-themed belt buckle with a message that both confirmed said reshoots and promoted a patriotic duty before this past election:
Back in the saddle again. We about to make “additional photography” look rill purty. Also, now that I have your attention: if you’re in the United States of America, and you care about the direction our country is heading/about to head, and how that affects all of us, I encourage you to educate yourself on the matters and candidates at hand, and then vote according to YOUR convictions. Trust that your voice does in fact mean something. And our collective voices mean everything. #wethepeople
That being said, who knows? Levi could’ve been a hero in the polls and we may not even know it.
Shazam! is scheduled to appear in theaters on April 5, 2019.
