Arrow’s Kirk Acevedo Upped to Series Regular

In season 6 of Arrow, actor Kirk Acevedo played Ricardo Diaz, a villain based on DC’s The New 52 character, Richard Dragon.

During season 6, Diaz manipulated his way to a position of power in the criminal organization known as The Quadrant. With that power he was able to push Oliver Queen to his limits. Oliver was eventually forced to reveal his secret identity and give up his freedom to stop Diaz. Though he prevented Diaz plans, Diaz was still able to escape.

It seems season 7 will see the return of Ricardo Diaz. It has been reported that actor Kirk Acevedo has been upped to series regular. It seems Diaz has plans for revenge and to do so, he will be recruiting a team of his own, know as the Longbow Hunters.

Arrow season 7 premiered Monday, October 15th on The CW. The second episode, which airs on October 22nd is titled The Longbow Hunters.
