This is a call to arms, DC fans, for one of our own is in need!

The director of the wonderful documentary The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened? and host of Collider Heroes, Jon Schnepp, recently fell ill and is now in critical condition and needs our help!

Schnepp has also worked on projects like Space Ghost: Coast to Coast, Upright Citizens Brigade, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Metalocalypse, The Venture Bros., The ABC’s of Death, and much more.

Schnepp’s partner, Holly Payne took to Twitter on July 12th to let us fans know that he was in the hospital.

Then on the 14th, she revealed that Jon was in critical condition, and that this sickness was worse than we all had anticipated.

Co-workers and friends have been very active, showing their love and support for both Jon and Holly.

Even Kevin Smith, who worked with Schnepp on the Superman Lives documentary, sent his well wishes.

Well, now it’s our turn.  Schnepp’s medical bill are astronomical, and they need help.  Holly has set up a Venmo and a Paypal for donations, and one of their friends even set up a GoFundMe.  Any amount will help, so please, give what you can, and be sure to share so other may help out to.

Jon Schnepp is one of the biggest Comic Book Sweaties (as he puts it) that I have ever known, and it’s time we band together and help out one of our own in need.  Get well soon, Jon!  We’re all pulling for you!!
