Summary
Raven and her mother, Arella, have been captured…and now they are being used to open a portal to bring Trigon to Earth, with the intention of spawning an army of perfect warriors!
Positives
We open on the progeny of 2MorrowTek, as it tries to save Raven and her mother from Trigon, whose ulterior motives weigh heavy on these characters. The progeny figures the only way to save both is to merge with Raven in her unconscious state. It then sacrifices itself while saving Raven, a rather momentous fatality which fools most people into assuming Raven is dead, including Baron Winters.
Trigon is looking to overcome all his foes, even traveling to a time when no one is strong enough to fight him. This leads to one of the biggest fights in the book, one that shows the readers exactly who the stakeholders are in this story, and how much they have to lose if Trigon succeeds.
This battle is more than a fight between a hero and a villain, it is a father fighting against his children which adds to another in a long line of complicated relationships that the DC Universe has dabbled in. In this issue, Baron Winters and Merlin serve as the reader’s eyes into the story, as he comically narrates what is happening.
Lastly, Baron Winters proposes a uniting of forces, one where people with abilities can fight the rise of evil everywhere. This will showcase Raven’s first team-up before she became a Teen Titan.

There are no negatives worth mentioning in this issue.
Verdict
This issue gives readers a rather satisfying conclusion to this arc. Within this particular issue we find that the character is not the sole offspring of Trigon, but one of many, and the depth of his lurid evil is more than what readers have come to expect or even comprehend.
