The CW already renewed all five of their Berlanti/DC shows but with those early renewal there will be some changes coming. Arrow, the original series that started it all will be getting new leadership starting in Season 7.
Wendy Mericle, who was executive producer and co-showrunner is leaving at the end of Season 6. Marc Guggenheim is stepping away from the two series he co-created, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow, and has decided to take on a consultant role for the shows going forward.
Co-executive producer, Beth Schwartz has now been promoted to executive producer and the sole showrunner for the new season of Arrow.

Greg Berlanti, first hired Schwartz as his assistant on his 2002 WB drama series Everwood. Later, she co-wrote two episodes of the Berlanti-produced ABC series Brothers & Sisters then joined Arrow in 2012 as a writers assistant for Season 1. Schwartz was soon promoted to writer, then co-executive producer in Season 6 and now executive producer and showrunner for Season 7.
