Much is in store for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow as is prepares to air its midseason premiere on Monday, February 12. The premiere which feature special guest Constantine played by Matt Ryan, the show the following week will be a special “Groundhogs Day” themed episode.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow has been on haitus for awhile due to the premiere of Black Lightning and DC’s decision to only show four superhero shows at one time. It is now set to replace Supergirl for the next nine weeks until that comes back in April.
A lot had happened when we last saw the Legends, and in the premiere titled “Daddy Darhkest,” the team will still be dealing with the death of Martin Stein, the departure of Jax, the addition of a friendly Leonard Snart, and now they weill have to deal with John Constantine as well. Constantine is aboard the Waverider to contact Sara about a demon-possessed girl who knows Sara’s name.
Constantine and Sara, however, have some history of their own as Constantine saved Sara’s soul after she was resurrected in the Lazarus Pit. Promos for the episode have been airing the past few weeks and a new one was released today. It appears as though Constantine and Sara will have plenty of bonding time to discuss how weird their lives are with time traveling and demon hunting. It will be interesting to see how Constantine fits well with the rest of the team, as he is usually known for being much darker and rougher around the edges than most of the Legends. Catch the promo for the premiere set to air Monday, February 12 at 8:00 P.M. EST below.
The following episode is titled “Here I go Again” and will feature Zari in a “Groundhogs Day” type scenario. The description is shown below.
“After the team returns from a mission, Zari (Tala Ashe) finds herself trapped in a time loop that results in the Waverider blowing up over and over again. Zari soon begins to suspect that the answer to stop what is happening might lie hidden among her fellow shipmates’ secrets. But in investigating them she starts to understand her place on the team. Caity Lotz, Brandon Routh, Dominc Purcell, Nick Zano, Maise Richardson-Sellers, Nick Zano and Keiynan Lonsdale also stars.”
The episode is directed by Ben Bray, is written by Ray Utarnachitt and Morgan Faust, and will air Monday, February 19 at 8:00 PM EST on the CW. Check out a gallery of images from the episode below.
