WB and DC Animation have released the first trailer to the latest DC animated film, Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay.
Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay is the 31st installment of the popular film series. Justice League Dark and The Killing Joke were previous films in the series that were rated R, but after WB returned to PG-13 for the Judas Contract, it was unclear whether or not they closed the door on R rated animated films going forward. But the Suicide Squad film shows that isn’t the case and is in fact rated R, like any good Suicide Squad movie should be.
The film stars the voices of Christian Slater as Deadshot, C. Thomas Howell as Zoom, Tara Strong as Harely Quinn, Liam McIntyre as Captain Boomerang, Billy Brown as the Bronze Tiger and Vanessa Williams as Amanda Waller.
Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay is scheduled to be released later in 2018.
