Justice League Reaches $500 Million

JL 500 - DC Comics News

Despite critics unjustly tearing the movie apart and it having the lowest opening for a DC film to date, Justice League managed to hit a major milestone today. 13 days after its initial release, Justice League has now passed the $500 million mark.

Domestically it stands at just over $178 million but foreign markets have pushed the movie well passed $300 million.

With Star Wars The Last Jedi being released on December 15th that gives Justice League 2 more weeks to bring in big numbers.

It’s unfortunate the movie isn’t doing as well at it deserves to be, but it still has a good shot at making its money back.

Justice League
Directed by Zack Snyder
Screenplay by Chris Terrio
Starring: Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, Amber Heard, Jeremy Irons

Cameron Tevis

Hi, I'm Cameron Tevis and I've been a comic book, anime and film fan my entire life. While I like Marvel and anime my true love is DC Comics. My father, who was a fan himself, introduced me at a very young age to the amazing characters in DC (especially Hal Jordan Green Lantern). I think it's a fantastic time to be a comic book fan and I'm happy I get to write about the company that I love so much. Besides being a DC fan, I am a designer and I recently started a comic book series of my own called Event Cycle 6 published through Aporian Comics. I recently wrote and directed a short film "The Misadventures of Harley Quinn". And most importantly I am now a father to my beautiful daughter Arya Jade!
