Wonder Woman Movie Makes History

If you have been only hearing from a select few that Wonder Woman was good, then maybe this will help sway you to see why it has so many people backing it. Of course, as the adage goes, “put your money where your mouth is” I feel applies to this as well. Wonder Woman has been setting records at making a lot of money at the box office both local and globally. It has officially passed Marvel’s Civil War and has landed on the top 20 highest-grossing movies ever list.

Scott Mendelson over at Forbes magazine has done the math and has put the film at making $445,000 this past weekend. Which ultimately puts the movie at a wondrous $409.5 million dollars. The best part is that is only in domestic sales!

That beats out Iron Man 3 and puts the movie hot on the heels of some of the other Marvel and DC films. Globally that puts the Wonder Woman movie at well over $800 million made. With all that success it is safe to say that we can see Patty Jenkins back in the directors chair in regards to the second Wonder Woman film, which is set to come out some time in 2019. Till then we will have to make due with the release of the DVD/Blu-Ray that are scheduled to come out this month on the 19th!

But don’t fret we will get to see her again in the Justice League on November 17th, 2017!

Hey everyone, my name is Brandon and it has always been a dream to work in comic books. And to do this is amazing and a lot of fun for me because not only do I get to read and write about what DC Comics is doing but it gives me more insight into who the characters are.
