Doug Liman Leaves Justice League Dark Film

Those who were awaiting the “Dark Universe” film will have to wait even longer now that director Doug Liman has left the film. Reasoning is because Liman is supposed to direct Chaos Walking at Lionsgate. Studio sources say finding a new director is already underway for the project. WB had no comment on the subject. Plot details are still hush hush but we all know the Justice League Dark team revolves around John Constantine, Swamp Thing, Zatanna, Etrigan the Demon, and Deadman. What we know so far is that Scoot Rudin is producing the film and Michael Gilio is writing the script.

This comes after the film already lost one director, Del Toro, because he was busy with other projects. New life was given to the project after Rudin signed on in 2015.

Will we see the return of Keanu Reeves or Matt Ryan on the silver screen? Could we see John Cena make an appearance since he was in Liman’s most recent film The Wall? Who knows, we’ll just have to watch the animated Justice League Dark to keep us entertained for now.
