Summary
Supergirl works with the DEO and CatCo in order to defeat the Cyborg Superman.

Positives
I like Kara’s plan to defeat Cyborg Superman and his army. While I certainly like a good fight scene, I always appreciate when writers can find a solution other than that. It feels a little more creative and makes the character look more intelligent. It’s a solid plan.

I like the idea that the people of Earth inspire Kara as much as she inspires them. It’s a sweet moment even if it’s a little cheesy.

I like the end of the issue quite a bit. Kara is not going to give up on her father and that’s very much in character. It also has potential to be an interesting story in the future.

Negatives
I really don’t like this art style both on the cover and in the interior. When there is a level of detail, it looks okay but, generally, I don’t think things look well defined. People are blobs of color if the panel isn’t tight on their face which is really distracting to me. There’s a conversation between two characters in which both of them have their eyes closed. Most of the art is really unappealing.

Verdict
I did not enjoy this issue that much. There are some nice moments mainly in Kara’s characterization but the issue is mainly dull. This story is not all that engaging. What doesn’t help is the art which does not work for me. It constantly takes me out of the story and frustrates me. I don’t like looking at the book and I don’t recommend reading it.
