Summary
We all have our demons. Some rely on Dark Knights to scare them off, others rely on Angels of Death to vanquish evil. These symbols often become a source of great motivation and drive. So is it the case for Batman’s followers and trainees.
Unfortunately, the Victim Syndicate doesn’t feel the same way. The Bat and all he represents are a point of anger and frustration. Due to their experiences, the Victim Syndicate is physically and mentally warped. They need a center to help them get on track, and we can only hope that Batman can find a way to give them that center.
In this issue, the Victim Syndicate are not only attacking Batman’s mind and motivation, but now they’ve moved on to the others.
Positives
I really have begun to like the Victim Syndicate, not because they are some powerful villain like the Joker or the Court of Owls. I find them fascinating because they have realistically done very little and yet are doing more damage to the Batman than most other villains.
Negatives
There is very little I find to take issue with this issue. It has a complex story really budding into an apex. It has beautiful art that makes it stand out to me even after seeing thousands of panels and issues of Batman.
Verdict
This issue was great and the ending will have readers excited for the next issue!
