New Justice League and Birds of Prey Member to Appear on The Flash

Whilst Cisco Ramon is getting used to his Vibe identity, it appears that The Flash is going to be bringing someone new onboard to help him out later this season.

CW’s Fan Feast Q&A took place after the midseason finale and actor Carlos Valdez spoke out telling fans of the series that a former Birds of Prey and Justice League member will be finding themselves on the show.

“There’s gonna be a new visitor to our world named Gypsy. DC Comics fans will be familiar with Gypsy. She’s gonna be coming into our world and Vibe will definitely get to learn some new skills as part of getting to know her.”

Gypsy had her first appearance at the same time as both Vibe and Steel did in Justice League of America Annual #2. Gypsy‘s real name is Cindy Reynolds and she was created by Gerry Conway and Chuck Patton.

Gypsy has telepathic and illusion inducing powers, making her a more than formidable opponent. At present, there is no word on who might be casted to portray the character and there are no confirmed dates or episode numbers for her to make her official debut on the show.

The Flash is set to return to screens on December 13, airing Tuesday nights at 8pm ET/PT on The CW. Let us know what you think about the introduction of Gypsy via social media, or alternatively via the comments section below. We’d love to hear from you!
