True love seems to always spawn on set from fictional lovers to real life. The stars of Gotham, Ben McKenzie (James Gordon) and Morena Baccarin (Dr. Leslie Thompkins) are getting married! Earlier this year the couple welcomed their first child, Frances Laiz Setta Schenkkan, and this will be McKenzie’s first marriage and Baccarin’s second. The duo announced their engagement at the 2016 Gotham Independent Film Awards (that was so planned on their part) where Baccarin proudly displayed her new engagement ring.
Mckenzie formerly starred on The OC, and Baccarin is famous for her role as Vanessa in this year’s hit film Deadpool.
Congratulations to the happy couple! Now if only they ended up together in the actual comics…
