Upcoming blockbuster Justice League had Steppenwolf set to be its villain and now it has emerged that Game of Thrones actor Ciaran Hinds will be portraying him. Hinds has just finished production as Steppenwolf, who is a motion-capture villain from an alien planet.
After the release of Batman -v- Superman: Dawn of Justice, an un-used scene was publicised showing Lex Luthor communicating with Steppenwolf using Kryptonian ship technology. Three Mother Boxes were shown in the clip, and they’re set to be what Steppenwolf is after in the Justice League movie.
Producer Charles Rowen commented on the use of the Mother Boxes, saying:
“[Back] before there was a history … mankind, the Atlanteans — before they were under water — the Amazonians and, actually, the old gods, teamed together and decided that — based on an event that happened — these mother boxes were going to be placed in the care of, as I say, the Amazonians, mankind and the Atlanteans …So that allows us to get into some of those environments.”
Justice League is set to release on November 17, 2017. Check out the clip of Lex Luthor communicating with Steppenwolf below and let us know what you think about the casting choice for Justice League!
