New Super-Man 2 crazy daysThere’s something to be said for those crazy days you have once in a while, right? In this issue, we get a real introduction to China’s Bat-Man, Baixi, and Wonder Woman, Deilan. This dynamic duo work very well together and quickly subdue the Super-Man. Throughout the rest of the issue we learn all about Kong Kenan’s new boss/captor and what is expected of the Super-Man.

The first mission the trio goes on is to rescue a doctor from a super-villain attack! Enter Sunbeam, an energy weapon user who likes shooting people point-blank in the face.

The Positives

New Super-Man 2 partnersKong Kenan is a hell of a character and readers will enjoy him. Love him or hate him, he’s someone to watch. The other heroes are also very interesting, having unique feels to them. Instead of feeling like Batman or Wonder Woman with a red and gold flag stapled across their chest, they actually have character. This series feels like a cosplayer’s dream come true, and that’s A-Okay with me!

The Negatives

There isn’t anything I can complain about! This is a quirky little series that might develop into a really interesting run. There are lots of possibilities, not to mention all the stories that have yet to flush out yet!

Verdict

This series has lots in store for its readers. The characters are interesting, the art is great, and there is a lot to see yet from Kong Kenan.
