James Wan’s Personal Touch To Aquaman Movie

If you are scratching your head wondering who James Wan is than let me just sum up his directing career with movies such as Saw, Insidious and Insidious 2, along with Conjuring and Conjuring 2. So to say that he has some horror background is to put it lightly. The Aquaman movie isn’t set to be released until July 27th, 2018.

What does that mean for us fans? Well it means that we are going to get a newer take on Aquaman and even with a few complaints about the costume change from the cameo that Jason Momoa did on Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice it is apparent that despite the costume change we are still going to get a really good version of Aquaman that almost everyone is going to love. Personally from what I have seen even from the Justice League trailer I think that Jason Momoa is the perfect fit for Aquaman and this darker, more edgier version of the King of Atlantis is going to be really fun to watch come to life on the big screen.

James Wan had this to say,

Fucking Aquaman! What can I say? Aquaman’s such an amazing character. I love the fact that he’s never really been portrayed in the feature movie world before… and the opportunity to explore this universe, you know, bring a bit of my horror element into this. The deep-sea is a scary world. And then also explore the wondrous world of Atlantis. That’s all I have to say.

If you haven’t had a chance to see the Justice League trailer then check it out.

Hey everyone, my name is Brandon and it has always been a dream to work in comic books. And to do this is amazing and a lot of fun for me because not only do I get to read and write about what DC Comics is doing but it gives me more insight into who the characters are.
