15 Minutes of Injustice 2 Gameplay in 1080p 60fps

Get a sneak peak at the characters, environments, menus, upgrades, and insane violence.

The good people at IGN have posted a 15 minute video of actual game play from the upcoming Injustice 2, which is set to be released in 2017 on XBox One and PS4.

As a sequel to the very popular and crazily violent fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us, the new installment looks to up the ante with more characters, more locations, and more people getting punched through planets.

The 15 minute long video kicks off with a bout between Supergirl and Atrocitus, who is apparently a “Red Lantern” that pukes flaming blood or something. There’s also a flying blue cat, because comics are weird.

Subsequent matches feature Superman vs Gorilla Grodd (a super-intelligent, telepathic, telekinetic gorilla, because again see the part where I said comics are weird) and shirtless Aquaman vs Batman.

All of the crazy board transitions and nutty super beatdowns that made the original game such a blast are on full display. The demo also offers a look at the new upgradable armor system, which will allow a certain degree of customization, which should delight the tinkerers out there.
