‘Arrow’ EP Guggenheim Lays Felicity (Rumors) To Rest…We Think

“The reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated.” – Mark Twain

If you haven’t been watching the hit CW show Arrow, what’s wrong with you? For those NORMAL people like the rest of us, in the midseason finale, things did not look to well for Felicity Smoak; or the future of the actor who plays her, Emily Bett Rickards.

So show runner Marc Guggenheim decided to douse the rumor flames with a tweet:

But what does this mean? Is Arrow taking the route of the classic television show Dallas, making the last season just a dream? Did Oliver enlist the aid of Barry Allen/The Flash to run back in time and save Felicity? Or, is she really gone, and Oliver has a vision as if she were still here? We hope it’s not the latter.

We will all have to wait until January 20 at 8/7 c when Arrow returns on the CW.
