Michelle Gomez Comes To Gotham In New Role
Gotham returns tonight with an all-new episode. Titled “A Bitter Pill To Swallow,” it features a new character called “The Lady.” But the actress in the role will be familiar to fans of the BBC show Doctor Who. Michelle Gomez played Missy, the female personification of the Doctor’s nemesis the Master. Gomez took to Twitter to announce her arrival to Gotham.

Little is known about Gomez’s role, but CBR has provided a synopsis of the episode:
Gordon and Barnes continue cleaning up Gotham, and Gordon comes face-to-face with one of the city’s most dangerous hitmen, Eduardo Flamingo (guest star Raul Castillo). Meanwhile, Nygma and Penguin cross paths again, and Bruce pressures Galavan into handing over the name of his parents’ murderer.
Guest Cast: Natalie Alyn Lind as Silver St Cloud, Michelle Gomez as The Lady, Jon Sklaroff as Billy Boy, Raul Castillo as Eduardo Flamingo and Ron Rifkin as Father Creel.
Gotham airs tonight at 8/7 c on FOX.
