‘Supergirl’ Episode Moved Due To Paris Attacks

CBS opts to switch episode

With the recent attacks in Paris still fresh in everyone’s mind, CBS has decided to switch episodes of Supergirl scheduled for Monday, November 16. In the episode called “How Does She Do It?” Supergirl has to stop several bombings throughout National City.

According to an article on TVLine, a CBS insider said the move was made “out of sensitivity and respect to the events that occurred.” In place of the episode, the Thanksgiving themed ep “Livewire” will air. This episode will also mark the second appearance of former motion picture Supergirl Helen Slater since the premiere episode. Here is a description:

Kara’s Thanksgiving may be ruined when she suspects her foster mother, Dr. Danvers (Helen Slater), who is coming to town, disapproves of her new role as a superhero.  Also, when an accident transforms a volatile CatCo employee into the villainous Livewire, she targets Cat and Supergirl.

In addition to Supergirl, CBS has also opted to switch an episode of NCIS: Los Angeles featuring ISIS.

Supergirl airs Mondays at 8/7 c on CBS.
