Ghost From ‘Arrow’ Episodes Past To Return

SPOILER ALERT: A former star returns, and it doesn’t involve the Lazarus Pit. If you like being surprised when you watch Arrow, turn back now!

In Season Four, Episode Five’s “Haunted,” Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne) and John Diggle (David Ramsey) team-up, and in the process come across information regarding the death of John’s brother Andy. Now, Entertainment Weekly learns some tidbits from Showrunner Wendie Mericle.

“Diggle’s really dealing with the grief and sense of loss. He’s grieving two losses, really — the idea of who his brother was and confirmation of why his brother was murdered. The truth is, he knows that his brother was involved in this bad, shady stuff, but he doesn’t know how or when or why. He doesn’t know Andy’s point of view. He’s never heard Andy’s side of the story. We’ll definitely be seeing Andy coming up in future episodes and we’ll get some pretty shocking answers about what happened to him.”

So it appears actor Eugene Byrd will be reprising his role as Sergeant Andrew “Andy” Diggle, Sr. in the near future. Let’s hope Christie Laing and Julius Fair also come back as Andy’s widow and son.
