“The LEGO Batman Movie” Adds Ralph Fiennes As Alfred!

The English thespian joins a growing cast as Batman’s butler!

With power hitters like Will Arnett (Batman/Bruce Wayne), Michael Cera (Robin/Dick Grayson), Zach Galifianakis (The Joker) and Rosario Dawson (Batgirl/Barbara Gordon) lending their voices to The Lego Batman Movie, word now comes that Oscar-winning actor Ralph Fiennes will portray Alfred Pennyworth in the film.

Fiennes can be seen this weekend as M in the US release of Spectre, the latest James Bond movie. His last voiceover work came in 2005 Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

The LEGO Batman Movie will be directed by Chris McKay, the animation supervisor on Lego Movie, and is written by author-screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith. Dan Lin, Roy Lee, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller will serve as producers.
