This review contains spoilers.

In this issue, Bizarro and Jimmy are arrested along with Chastity Hex when they try to break into Area 51.

The comic begins with Jimmy, Bizarro and Chasity getting their mugshots and being put in their cell. They then flashback to three days earlier in which two A.R.G.U.S. agents ask them to break in so that they can find alien weapons. Bizarro finds out that Jimmy is planning a book based on Bizarro which angers him. The comic ends with the trio releasing all of the prisoners and Bizarro abandoning Jimmy.

Positives

The dialogue is very funny. Heath Corson does a good job of writing Bizarro’s dialogue. I also like that Bizarro already knows about Jimmy’s book and isn’t reacting positively.

Negatives

The plot is somewhat of a cliche. I have seen this idea done several times before and it’s just not that entertaining here.

The structure also doesn’t work for me. The issue keeps flashing back between the current events in the prison and the lead up to the prison. I would prefer it if the entire story was in the prison instead of frantically jumping around.

Verdict

Overall, this issue is a bore. It’s a fairly stock story with some decent humor but nothing else to really go on.
