Jack Larson, from Adventures of Superman, Passes Away

It is sad to announce Jack Larson has passed away on September 21st at the age of 87. He was best known for his role as the photographer/cub reporter, Jimmy Olsen, on the television series Adventures of Superman. The series ran from 1952-1958.

He was born in Los Angeles, California and which is also where he took his last breath. During his life, he has accomplished a great deal of work such as writing the libretto to the opera Lord Byron to music by Virgil and also appearing in a large amount of Superman related cameos. He also acted in a wide range of movies from 1948 and up until 2014.

In 2013, he had won the Comic-Con’s Inkpot Award for his contribution to the world of comics. He will live on in all of our hearts.
