The CW has revealed the first photo of actor Teddy Sears as the Earth 2 version of The Flash (Jay Garrick) and they’ve done it with style! Paying homage to the classic cover The Flash of Both Worlds, the network has recreated the photo with The Flash star Grant Gustin and Sears in their respective roles as the Scarlet Speedster.
The hat was typed about Jay Garrick’s arrival during the inaugural season finale of The Flash back in May. His famous winged helmet came through the time portal.

Sears’ (American Horror Story, Masters of Sex) casting was announced during this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.
The Flash returns Tuesday, October 6, at 8/7c.
