Mr. Terrific And Anarky To Join “Arrow”

The cast of Arrow has grown yet again. Actor Echo Kellum (Ben and Kate and Sean Saves The World) will portray DC Comics’ Justice Society member Mr. Terrific (given the new name of Curtis Holt), and actor Alexander Calvert (Bates MotelThe Returned and The Dead Zone) will play Anarky.

In DC Comics, Michael (not Curtis) Holt is the secret identity of the second superhero to take the name Mr. Terrific. Holt is a billionaire and inventor who becomes a superhero after the death of his wife and unborn child. He was created by created by John Ostrander and Tom Mandrake. Arrow’s version of the Holt will be the show’s first openly gay character according to reports.

Anarky, a mainstay Batman villain created by Alan Grant and Norm Breyfogle, has no respect for law and order. So much that he goes out of his way committing crimes that share is motif of chaos. Calvert’s version is described as “Lonnie Machin, deranged freelancing criminal who is willing to do whatever it takes to impress a potential employer.”

Kellum and Calvert will also be joined this season by Neal McDonough as this season’s main villain, Damien Darhk.

Arrow returns on October 7 at 8/7 pm on The CW.
