After a long struggle to become green-lighted for a second season, Constantine is canceled by NBC.
According to showrunner Daniel Cerone, NBC canceled Constantine due to low ratings. However as he states on his twitter, while ratings for Constantine are low to NBC’s eyes, those same ratings are considered a hit on other networks.

Even fellow DC Comics-related stars like Stephen Amell offer their support for the show.
#SaveConstantine — Hey TV Networks / Netflix and the like… If you pick up the show, I'll guest star.

And also Joseph Morgan, from the Originals, a show airing at The CW, is eager to guest star if the show is saved.

Even after the fact the show has been canceled, it is fair to note it has gathered a loyal fanbase. Airing on the infamous Friday night slot is a difficult struggle for any prime time show, and even so Constantine managed to capture the eyes of millions of fans throughout the United Stated and the rest of the world.
Daniel Cerone continues the search for a home for the show, and the day is not even finished.
