Jesse Eisenberg Doesn’t Read Comic Books

It’s not uncommon for actors portraying comic book characters in movies and television. But having some knowledge of our role helps. And the future Lex Luthor sought help from a young family member.

In a recent interview with The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon, actor Jesse Eisenberg revealed that he was never a big comic book fan. He does, however, have a 4 year old cousin who is. Eisenberg will play Lex Luthor in the DC Comics/Warner Bros comic book adaptation Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice next year.

The Social Network star will probably consult his cousin even more. In addition to playing Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman, Eisenberg is also scheduled to to reprise his role in Suicide Squad. It probably wouldn’t hurt for him to visit his local comic book store.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled to premiere March 25, 2016. While Suicide Squad is scheduled for April 19, 2016. Be sure to save DC Comics News in your favorites folder for the latest news on these and other DC Comics stories!
