In a recent Tweet, DC Comics revealed that they have moved their offices from New York City to the West Coast. While they had shared the Big Apple location with their competitor, Marvel comics, this is no longer the case, as Marvel bid their rival a tearful farewell on social media. This transition is part of the reason for DC’s current Convergence series, which gives editors and employees proper time to relocate and settle in, due to the 2 month break between regular publishing. The DC offices in New York will be moving out to Burbank, California. The move had been expected, however, as DC announced back in 2013 that they would be moving from New York City in order to be closer to their parent company, Warner Bros.
