Scott Eastwood and Raymond Olubowale Join ‘Suicide Squad’

It appears that Task Force X has picked up more recruits. Though we still don’t know their codenames.

Scott Eastwood (son of actor and director Clint Eastwood) and Raymond Olubowale will join Will Smith (Deadshot), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jared Leto (The Joker), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag) and Viola Davis (Amanda Waller) in Suicide Squad.

Eastwood broke the news to Canadian entertainment TV program etalk, and the shared the news via Twitter (etalk promises more information on his casting tomorrow). Eastwood has appeared in Flags of Our Fathers (2006), You Got Served (2007), Gran Torino (2008), Invictus (2009), The Forger (2012), Trouble with the Curve (2012), and Fury (2014).

Raymond “Bola” Olubowale is a boxer turned actor. He has appeared in TV series as The Listener (2011), Lost Girl (2011) and Covert Affairs (2011), and in the film Red Lights (2012). This summer, he will star with Adam Sandler and Kevin James in the action comedy Pixels.

Suicide Squad expects to begin shooting this month and to be release on August 5, 2016.
