Now that fans know Game of Thrones and Stargate Atlantis’s own Jason Momoa will be playing Aquaman in the up and coming Batman V. Superman Dawn of Justice it is about time the man himself has come out and talked about the role and the movies he will be involved in.
News that Momoa will star in not just the Justice League and Batman V. Superman movies it has also been confirmed that he will star in a standalone Aquaman movie. The standalone movie is set for a 2018 release. Momoa went on to talk about who he would like to direct the standalone.
Momoa said that he would like Zack Snyder to direct his solo outing as the King of Atlantis. With Snyder taking Aquaman away from the quirky and silly stereotype and making him a more as Momoa said according to Wegotthiscovered.com “Aquaman will be a bad-ass, otherwise, they wouldn’t cast me for the role.” And Momoa seems to have the badass look and feel down as fans could see from his roles in Conan and Game of Thrones.
Batman V. Superman Dawn of Justice is set for a March 24, 2016 release with Aquaman set for a 2018 release.
