With the announcement of all the upcoming DC films slated for release within the next few years, one that may have been forgotten about is Justice League: Dark, which is being produced by noted screenwriter, Guillermo Del Toro. Del Toro has submitted a script to Warner Bros. He was quoted in an interview saying,
“Right now the only sort of shared universe project I’m working on is Dark Universe for Warners, you know, for DC, which is Swamp Thing, Demon, Deadman, Zatanna. It’s a very different universe.”
It is currently unknown whether Del Toro’s Dark Universe exists within the DC Universe of the main Justice League members such as Superman, Batman, Flash, and Wonder Woman. However, they could possibly be two separate universes existing alongside each other with characters crossing over.
