DC and The CW seem to be just throwing villains at the viewers this year and Arrow seems to have it fair share of them. With recent announcements of Ra’s Al Ghul being cast news has come out that another villain has been cast this time being Komodo.
The black hooded villain from the comics is making the jump to the small screen in the next season of The CW’s Arrow. Matt Ward (Tron Legacy, Hellcats) will be taking up the mantel of Komodo and hopefully will don the dark colours of his comic persona. In the comics Komodo comes from an Asian decent this will probably link in to the footage of Oliver in Asia during his training/time on the island.
Also speaking about the new season and character executive producer Marc Guggenheim says “You’re going to know what happens to Komodo at the end of the episode, but it will be a little bit tied in better with the season-long mythology than villain-of-the-week episodes have done in the past.”
Season three of Arrow will air this Fall starting with the Calm on the 8th of October.
