Zod May Play Role in Lex Luthor’s Plan

Geek Tyrant recently posted some new information regarding Lex Luthor’s plot in the Batman V Superman film. The website was contacted by an extra who spent ten days working on the film’s set. In addition to telling the site that the film’s ending has already been shot, he also described at least one scene that he was present for the filming of. According to the extra, the ending of the film has already been filmed. One of the scenes shot featured Batman breaking into Lexcorp to steal kryptonite, and apparently Lexcorp had somehow gotten ahold of General Zod’s body.

While there is no way to confirm the extra’s information, Geeky Tyrant is treating it as a rumor for the time being. However, Badass Digest seems to have spoken up and labeled the information as true.

According to badass digest, Lex Luthor has also managed to gather pieces of the World Engine from the Man of Steel film and will use it to synthesize Kryptonite. Zod’s body will be playing an important role as Lex Luthor plans to use the tissue taken from the corpse to genetically engineer a creature capable of defeating Superman. While a name has not been given, this data heavily implies that at some point Doomsday, the monster who killed Superman in the 1990’s “Death of Superman” storyline will be a foe that will have to be faced.

However, it may not be Doomsday. While he is definitely a fan favorite and the majority of people would love to see Doomsday go toe-to-to with the Man of Steel on the big-screen, he is not the only creature created by with the power to do battle with Superman. If Lex Luthor is the one creating such a monster, it could also mean that the villain plans on using the Kryptonian tissue taken from General Zod to create his own Superman and in a twist of fate, end up creating the villain Bizarro.
