“BOMBSHELLS VARIANT” covers by DC Comics are dropping in June. Based upon their popular line of statues, DC Comics announced a series of variant covers for their June 2014 solicited titles.

Like the statues the covers will feature designs and artwork by Ant Lucia. When asked about the project he had this to say……
“I’m so proud of the work we’ve accomplished on the Bombshell line and very excited to see them become part of the cover series,” Lucia says. “It has been a privilege to work with the team at DC Collectibles and watch these develop.”
“Having my art on the cover of DC’s comic books has been a dream of mine since I was very young so this is particularly special to me.”
Some covers will feature never before seen designs, such as the Catwoman cover above. For those who are not familiar with the “BOMBSHELLS” line of statues, they spotlight the women of the DC Universe in a 40’s and 50’s pinup style. check some out below ↓↓↓↓.
