He’s debuted already as Barry Allen on our favorite CW television program Arrow, now the studio has released the first image of Grant Gustin in the familiar red-and-yellow cowl as the Flash!
The costume was designed by three-time Oscar winner Colleen Atwood, who already designs costumes for Arrow and has lent her talents to films such as Memoirs of a Geisha and Snow White and the Huntsmen, as well as acclaimed television program Sleepy Hollow.
Production on the pilot episode for The Flash begins next week, working off a script written by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, and DC’s Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns! Geoff made his mark on the Flash in comics already, penning Rebirth as well as the Flashpoint event that led directly into the New 52. So the character is in good hands, and if this show is of Arrow’s caliber, it is sure to be a hit!
