Congratulations to DC Collectibles which has surpassed 50,000 likes on Facebook. DC Collectibles produces an exclusive line of high quality products including but not limited to action figures, statues and prop replicas. Products are based on characters appearing in DC comics, Vertigo and Mad magazine.
Starting in 1998 DC Direct distributed collectibles primarily to comic specialty shops. For the first several years DC Direct focused mainly on it’s action figure line releasing random lesser known characters. Props and replicas were offered such as “Legion” flight rings, “Green Lantern” power batteries, “Wonder Woman’s” lasso and bracelets and “Batman’s” utility belt. Statue’s based on Batman: Black & White and DC Cover girls sell out instantly and are still being produced today! In 2012 after 14 years DC Direct was re-launched as DC Collectibles.
One of their most recent product lines “Bombshells” reimagines various DC female characters as classic 1940’s and 50’s pinup girls. The initial three offerings Wonder Woman, Supergirl and Poison Ivy proved wildly successful and additional statues have been announced.
